Weld Repair & Hard-Face Overlaying For Precision Valve Trim Parts
XMC
At XMC, we work with our customers to ensure their weld procedures and coating requirements are fully met.
Our weld procedures are established using ASME Section IX Guidelines and Standards. Qualified procedures are kept on file and are available on request.
XMC will design and qualify a procedure based on your specific requirements.
Metals we commonly weld, using the TIG process, include:
300 and 400 Series Stainless Steels, Duplexes, Inconels, Monels, Hastelloys, Colmanoy, Stellite, Nickel-Tungsten Carbide, Chromium Alloys (4130/F-22/F-5/F-9), Titanium and Tantalum.
TIG Welding
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, or TIG Welding, is a process used when high-quality, precision welding is required for severer service.
XMC can repair your worn, eroded, corroded and cavitated trim back to OEM specifications using TIG Welding. We will apply different alloys to increase the life and wear resistance of your valve trim by up to four times longer than OEM parts.
Critical seated and wear areas of your trim will be built-up using superior alloy, depending on the application of the valve.
Coating Capabilities
XMC offers the latest technology in thermal spray coatings.
